Accessibility statement

Adoptice should work for everyone. This is what we aim for and where we fall short.

Operator: Boudjelal Maria, trading as Adoptice, an auto-entrepreneur (sole trader) based in Algeria. Postal address: Lot 127, Oued Tarfa, Draria, Algiers, Algeria. Email: contact@adoptice.com. Version 1.0. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site is new. We have checked it ourselves, but it has not yet had an independent audit, so we cannot claim full conformance. We review this statement when we make major changes to the site.

What we do

  • Semantic page structure, one main heading per page, a skip link and labelled landmarks.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text and controls are designed for sufficient colour contrast, and information is never given by colour alone.
  • Text can be enlarged and the layout adapts to small screens.
  • Forms have labels and clear error messages.
  • Animations respect the reduced-motion setting.
  • Satellite pictures have text alternatives that say what and when.

Known limits

  • The interactive map is hard to use without a mouse or sight. Each map has a list alternative with the same information.
  • Certificate PDFs are designed for printing and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. The same facts are on the verification page in plain text.
  • The site is available in English only.
  • Some satellite pictures are low contrast by nature, such as white ice on snow.
